Change the Present: A Community Holiday Fundraiser
Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays!
We hope this finds you in good spirit, in company of good friends, and in the warmth of love and family.
Many of us find ourselves at the most joyous and grateful times of the year, and rightfully so. Families make trips, miles upon miles, to be together. Friends are thoughtful upon their journeys to find the perfect gifts, reminding each other how very dear and special they are. Countless mothers, mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers go out of their way to make sure that those who have fallen on hard times can find hope and inspiration along with new beginnings.
This is truly a magical time of the year for many.
On the other end its trying and desperate. Not everyone is graced at this time of year and some find themselves without food, shelter or a caring hand. Not only does the cold become unbearable, so does the pain of malnutrition and anxiety, never knowing if you will have simply what is needed.
So what can we do?
My thought was simple. We do what we can. That is, we
CHANGE THE PRESENT!!!
Change the Present is a first year Annual Lincoln Community Fundraiser where all proceeds go to help those of our community in need.
Who and what are we?
Well, we are your neighbors and industry workers and servers and coworkers and family and friends, really. This one night of the year we have all agreed to simply do what we can to ensure we make the biggest impact possible.
We are beyond pleased to share that the venue and staff has been donated!!! THANK YOU VEGA!!! Our largest expense has been fully donated!!! All of our very talented artists are donating their craft and time!!! We are building a high end audio visual production to treat all those who donate with a night to remember. What this does is it ensures that every dollar that is raised through this event goes to those in need, to those who have no other options, AND THAT IS POWERFUL!!!
